Growing up on the North Shore of Sydney, influenced by my South African parents, I always assumed I would follow my father's footsteps into accounting. It was during my time interning at two startups and serving as treasurer of the UNSW Startup Link society that I realised my passion sat at the intersection of finance and entrepreneurship.

I began my career at Deloitte before spending over three years at Partners for Growth, providing non-dilutive growth capital to early-stage technology businesses across Australia, the Middle East and Asia Pacific.

What drew me to venture capital is simple: I want to be in founders' corners for the long haul, building trusted partnerships with people disrupting incumbents and being an active part of that growth story.

B2B software is one of the most exciting places to be investing right now. AI is fundamentally reshaping how software businesses are built and differentiated, and the companies that harness these technologies intelligently stand to build something genuinely transformative. As a CA, I bring financial rigour to every engagement, though the most rewarding part of the job is hearing the genesis of an idea straight from the people who lived the problem.

One thing I try to live by: be comfortable being uncomfortable. Whether in my career, on a surfboard, or backing a founder into an uncertain market, the best things usually happen just past the edge of what feels safe.

When not at work, you will find me on a football pitch, a futsal court, or attempting to surf at Bondi. If you spot someone making it look harder than it should be, that is probably me.
