Welcome to the latest update from EVP_
Since our last update, we’ve welcomed five new companies to the portfolio, completed follow-on transactions in Practice Ignition (now known as Ignition) and Hnry and celebrated SiteMinder’s IPO.
We welcomed Allen Zhu to the Investment Team last month, and are currently hiring a Portfolio & Community Associate to support the delivery of portfolio initiatives. Our Head of Talent Fred Callaghan also recently shared some insights into his role and what makes a good recruiter.
As we continue to invest out of Fund III, we're actively looking for exceptional early-stage B2B SaaS and marketplace companies. If you'd like to chat about funding for your startup, please get in touch.
We hope you have an excellent March quarter.

The milestone moment – 16 years in the making, saw the company raise $627m to list with a $1.36b market capitalisation. Congratulations to the entire SiteMinder team!

Back in 2017 we were proud to back Founders Guy and Dane as the lead investors of their Series A round. Over the past five years, we’ve observed tremendous growth in a company that remains deeply customer-centric. In November 2021, Practice Ignition (now Ignition) raised a USD50m Series C round, welcoming US growth fund JMI Equity as a significant new shareholder. Read Howard’s Investment Notes here. }
Hnry – $15m {
From cake-level customer engagement in 2019 to 10x-ing their customer and revenue traction in 2021, we’re proud to have tripled down on our investment in Hnry in their recent NZD16m raise.
